This is an annually conducted film festival in the Malnad region of Karnataka. The environmental film festival

is the nation’s capital is the world’s premiere showcase of environmentally themed films. Through this

annual festival year round events, online resources, they seek to advance public understanding of the

environment through the power of film. The importance of the film festival is we showcase the

environmental issues through visual medium as the structured documentary shown with proper research

has a huge impact that can be everlasting. The main objective of this “Malnad International Wildlife &

Environmental Film Festival” is to bring a revolution and Awareness in Wildlife & Environment as well Save

Environment for Wildlife, Birds, Environment Conservation, Wildlife Conservation, Livelihoods, Use of

alternative Energy, Man-Animal conflict, Infrastructure development destroy ecology and Global Warming.

We invite film schools and filmmakers to showcase critical exploration of their visual talents in the above

theme.

The purpose of organizers of this festival, “Filmaholic Foundation”, is to attract best films based on Wildlife,

Birds, Environment Conservation, Wildlife Conservation, Livelihoods, Use of alternative Energy, Man-Animal

conflict, Infrastructure development destroy ecology and Global Warming. This is a non-profit film festival

with the intention of creating wildlife and environment literacy among general public and to help ecologists

to understand the ecology in other parts of the world and saving our Earth. Here is no entry fee for

submission of films and admission to the festival is free on first come first server basis.

Filmaholic International Children Film Festival of India

Filmaholic International Children Film Festival of India proudly brings Children Films to the film industry to Bangalore, India’s IT city. The organizers of this film festival “Filmaholic Foundation” aim to attract the best films to made on children compete in the film festival happening in Bangalore, Karnataka. Filmaholic Foundation believe in the power of the visuals is more than words. The visual image is more colorful than the set of words, literally and figuratively.

Filmaholic International Children Film Festival of India (FICFFI) is being celebrated during the month of November 2023 to promote the aspiring Independent, feature and documentary filmmakers made on children. Awards will be presented to the films under various categories.

*Rules & Guidelines for Filmaholic International Children Film Festival of India (FICFFI) *

 

>Films should be independent in spirit and original in perspective.

 

>Any feature film, independent feature film, short film, music album and documentary films can be submitted.

 

>Submitting your film to the Filmaholic International Children Film Festival of India (FICFFI) is not a guarantee of selection. We treat every filmmaker equally. All the official selection, nominees and the winners will be listed on our website permanently.

 

>Films which have been submitted to the earlier years of the Filmaholic International Children Film Festival of India (FICFFI) will not be accepted.

 

>Films made in languages other than Kannada & English must have English subtitles otherwise they will be summarily rejected.

 

>Do not submit works in progress films.

 

>All Film Entries should be submitted online only through FilmFreeway and given access for downloading the movie to the festival organizers for screening of the movie. The films must be submitted at https://filmfreeway.com/fciffi

 

>After a film has been an official selection, the filmmaker will be notified, and eventually the film will be listed on the festival website under Official Selections.

 

>The Official Selection status doesn’t mean that your film will be screened at the festival. It means that your film has been appreciated by our judges of panel and you can use the festival laurel on your poster.

 

>A synopsis of no more than 180 characters in English, a screenshot from the film and a short director’s biography, contact number of the team are requested upon submission.

 

>In order to submit a film, the submitter must own the rights or have permission from the owner. The film festival organization team reserves the right to demand appropriate proof of these rights and to reject the submission upon failure to provide it.

 

>By submitting your film to Filmaholic International Children Film Festival of India (FICFFI) you authorize team to use, distribute and share the film poster, trailer, synopsis and movie stills for Publicity (Online & Offline)

 

>The participant must ensure that the official festival logo for Filmaholic International Children Film Festival of India (FICFFI) is clearly visible on all advertising and promotional measures for the participating films.

 

>We will accept only online submission of all major video formats in full quality HD with a maximum of 10GB file size limit.

 

>By submitting the registration form, the film submitter agrees that the festival retains submitted films until the end of the festival. The submitter also agrees that selection screeners (except DCPs) will be made available online in encrypted form to the festival committee for the purpose of selection.

 

>The participant must provide the following material: film stills (minimum width 1600 pixel & minimum height 1100 pixel, JPG/TIFF) and a portrait of the director (minimum width 303 pixel & minimum height 404 pixel, JPG/TIFF) – with captions – in electronic form film poster in electronic form (300dpi JPG of 13×18 cm) press kit as an Adobe Acrobat PDF file (max. 3 MB)

 

>The images will also be used for the Filmaholic International Children Film Festival of India (FICFFI) publicly available print products (festival publications) and online media (websites, apps, social media channels) where they will remain available without any time or territorial restrictions.”

 

>Festival times may be subject to delay or change.

 

>Films which have been already submitted in the previous years of Filmaholic International Children Film Festival of India (FICFFI) if resubmitted will not be considered for this film festival.

 

>In submitting, Filmaholic International Children Film Festival of India (FICFFI) is given the right to screen submission at no charge to the festival.

 

>Not all submissions received will be selected for live exhibition, nor given award honors. Only participant trophy will be given to all the participants.

 

>Participants agree to participate in the publicity for the Festival as well as other promotional events, including website, social media, international press coverage and festival trailers.

 

>Submitters should ensure project information is complete and that they have followed all of the appropriate terms and conditions related to their project. Keep contact information up-to-date at all times. Please enter specific information into the project profile on FilmFreeway to make sure it’s clear. For example, list actor names as well as the character they portray. Be sure to include technical credits as well, such as cinematographers, editors, and visual effects artists in the FilmFreeway credit section.

 

>The trailer cut of the movie must be submitted

 

>Only the Producer(s) and/or Director(s) may submit a film for consideration.

 

>The film maker will be solely responsible for ensuring that the film will not be pirated during the film festival screening and it will not be the responsibility of the Filmaholic International Children Film Festival of India (FICFFI) team

 

>Due to the amount of films we receive, only the top scoring films will go through into the competition

 

>The organizers of the festival reserve the right to make changes in the screening schedule of films.

 

>The selected films will be screened on the festival day

 

>Jury decision will be the final to shortlist the movie and will be confidential. Decision cannot be challenged.

 

>Submissions received after final date will not be included in the competition.

 

>All rewards must be claimed within three months of receiving the notification via email, after which you will be deemed to have forfeited your prize.

 

>The festival will not provide feedback on films or specific reasons for rejection for any film.

 

>If the trophies have to be couriered then there will extra courier charges applicable.*

International Panorama Film Festival of Bengaluru

Mysuru International Water Film Festival

This annual film festival informs, educates and activates our audiences about water and water issues including the climate crisis because the likelihood of having enough clean, fresh water and a liveable climate is diminishing everywhere and daily. The main objective of this film festival is to educate, create awareness to our audiences and participants about water and water issues through visual media. The purpose of organizers of this festival, “Filmaholic Foundation”, is to attract best films based on water, marine life, water conservation efforts, water environments, coastal cultures, water sports and exploration, dams and the displaced, water struggles / conflicts, floods and droughts, Global warming and climate change, water sanitation and health, river pollution, Holistic revival of water bodies and innovative technology designed to help protect water and create awareness on the importance of water. 

This is a non-profit film festival with the intention of raising awareness on water literacy among general public. There is no entry fee for submission of films and admission to the festival is free on first come first server basis. We inspire people to take action and use the funds we’ve raised to install new wells and filtration systems for communities who desperately need clean water. Interspersed with songs, photo and art exhibitions, installations, water walks, interactive sessions with water activists and film directors and culminating in a conference on “Save Water”.
